Chrons Disease

I've done mushrooms afew times, and I was planning on getting some in for a night with some friends of mine who have never done them before. But, one of my friends has crohn's disease, and doesn't want to take them if they will be harmful to her health. Will the mushrooms cause any adverse effects? Also, are there any other medical reasons to avoid having mushrooms?
