Green Mycelium

Hi there fellow shroomers,

I have recently bought a 1501 grow kit from sjaaman!!

A nice flush of Mycelium appeared in the corner of the grow kit, however after about 4 days the Mycelium appeared to develop a greeny growth to it. I assumed this was bad mould/fungus and removed it with a sterilised spoon. The Mycelium where this green grew from is growing back, and I have had the kit for about 7 days now. It is well heated above my Aquarium from the power packs, but I am worried i contaminated the kit with un-sterile water. (wish I had read this forum first before spraying water directly from the tap onto the kit) Should I discard the kit?

try putting salt on the contaminated area. that should work.
