Light Requirements for Grow Kit

I ordered my kit last week, and hope it ships out sometime soon, I am still doing research now to make sure I know how to take care of it. Moisture I think I have figured out, (not too much, not too little, easy enough



My question is light. I know that sunlight is bad, and some people are talking abuot 500w work lamps, which I assume aren't the best. Could someone with a lot of experience post their thoughts. I think there are a lot of rookies interested in the answer, so please only reply with good info.



Seems that a low wattage bulb is the best thing 10-50w??

Should it be right next to kit, or several meters away??

How Long to use light. 1hr/day, all daytime, 24hr/day???



I've seen several posts where too much light or to little was the cause of stunted mushrooms. Please let us all know how to make sure we give our kits just the right amount of light.

you should use a 10w light and leve it on till your mushrooms ahve grown to about 5 cm then it wont be necisayr for the ligh all the time.

only during night time put it on till the morning
