After picking shrooms

Me and a friend just recently found out that liberty caps have been growing in his backyard. We are not sure of what to do after we pick them. Is there anything we have to do before we eat them?

No, they can be eaten fresh, or dried for later use.

Make sure you know exactly what you have though. Are you experienced P. Semilanceata pickers?

There are poisonous species which you can mistake for libcaps.

We are not experienced pickers but we have campared them with a picture and they looked exactley alike. How can we tell if they are liberty caps?

(If we were to pick them, how long would it take for them to dry?)
